Fischer Panda 18 PVM Compact AC Generator
The Fischer Panda 18 PVM Generator is a compact water-cooled AC generator. This version has a 400 V three-phase electrical winding at 50 Hz. The generator supplies a stable supply of 10 kW at 3000m / +50°C) power with +/- 3 V tolerance.
The generator is driven by a three-cylinder diesel Kubota D1105 engine. The generator unit is connected to an external or vehicle diesel fuel tank. Connections for the fuel source are located on generator base.
The Fischer Panda 18 PVM Generator is enclosed within a robust sound insulation housing which significantly reduces operating sounds. This unit has slanted roof section to meet the intended installation form. The dry weight of the unit weight of this Fischer Panda 18 PVM is approximately 368 kg (dry). The generator is cooled with a single circuit using an externally mounted radiator. All essential hoses and electrical cables and connections are pre-fitted to the generator base. An oil drain hose is integrated into the unit and can be withdrawn by removing a protective access plate. Easy assess to the components of generator is gained by unlocking the releases and removing the side and top panels. This generator has a 24V start system.
An externally mounted panel is included with the generator. This is usually fitted within the vehicle for the operator. Fischer Panda provides custom services for applications that require the external panel to be mounted into an extra housing unit. In one of the example images, the external unit can be seen.
The color of the generator can be matched according to the specifications of the customer's application requirements.
The generator is of the type PVM which is Panda Vehicle Modular (compact version with external air-cooled exhaust silencer). In this version, the exhaust silencer is mounted externally to the generator base with a connection to the exhaust elbow on the engine.
