Fischer Panda 24 PSC (Panda Self Contained) AC Generator

The Fischer Panda 24 PSC AC Generator is a compact water-cooled generator. This versions is available with electrical winding that supplies 230 V / 400 V  at 50 Hz. The generator supplies a stable supply of 20 kW power  at 3000 m / +50°C with +/- 3V tolerance.

This Fischer Panda AC generator is fitted with latest fpControl system and is capable of parallel operation (load switching).  An external power source is connected to the generator and its presence is monitored. When the external power source is disconnected or shut down (eg. lose of external land power connection), the generator begins an autostart sequence and  the electrical load is transferred to generator. The sequence occurs within 60 seconds (including loss of load sensing, preheat, starting and load switching).

The generator is driven by a four-cylinder diesel Kubota V1505T engine with turbo and 24V electrical start system.  The generator unit is fitted with an internal diesel fuel tank integrated with a capacity of 85 liters.  This is located under the generator between the slide rails. The Fischer Panda 24 PSC AC Generator is enclosed within a robust sound insulation housing which significantly reduces operating sounds. The dry weight of the unit weight of the Fischer Panda 24 PSC AC  is approximately 850 kg.

Easy assess to the components of generator is gained by unlocking the releases and removing the side and top panels. This generator is mounted on slide rails to allow it to be withdrawn from its installation enclose for access during maintenance. An electrical distribution cabinet is mounted to the end of the unit containing operator's panels (1 digital panel for generator and 1 digital panel for external power source) and instrumentation. Below the distribution cabinet door is an emergency stop button. On the side of the electrical distribution cabinet is are  circuit breakers and electrical output cable and cable for the second power source.

All essential hoses and electrical cables and connections are pre-fitted to the generator base. An oil drain hose is integrated into the unit and can be withdrawn by removing a protective access plate. This generator also has an externally fitted pre-filter for the air intake to the engine to ease operational maintenance.

The color of the generator can be matched according to the specifications of the customer's application requirements.

They have their own fuel source, dedicated cooling radiator, exhaust and electrical distribution.. The generator is cooled with a single cooling circuit using an radiator that is vertically mounted on the slides.
