Fischer Panda 30 PVMV-N AC Generator 50 Hz
The Fischer Panda 30 PVMV-N AC Generator is a compact water-cooled generator. Versions are available with electrical windings to supply 230 V single phase or 400 V three-phase at 50 Hz. The generator supplies a stable supply of 20 kW power at 3000 m with +/- 3V tolerance. The generator is driven by a four-cylinder diesel Kubota V1505T engine with turbo. The generator unit is connected to an external or vehicle diesel fuel tank. The Fischer Panda 30 PVMV-N AC Generator is enclosed within a robust sound insulation housing which significantly reduces operating sounds. The dry weight of the Fischer Panda 30 PVMV-N AC is approximately 580 kg.
Easy assess to the components of generator is gained by unlocking the releases and removing the side and top panels. This generator is mounted on slides to allow it to be withdrawn from its installation enclose for access during maintenance. An electrical distribution cabinet is mounted to the side of the radiator. This contains 24V starter batteries. Below the electrical distribution cabinet are circuit breakers for the electrical load and fan control. A connector for an 24V external jump start is fitted to the capsule base.
An additional externally slave panel into an external housing unit. In one of the example images, the external unit also has instrumentation with operating indicators and audible warning tone (which can be disabled). All essential hoses and electrical cables and connections are pre-fitted to the generator base. An oil drain hose is integrated into the unit and can be withdrawn by removing a protective access plate.

The generator is of the type PVMV-N which is Panda Vehicle Modular Version - N (Normal version with internally fitted water-cooled pre-exhaust silencer and main silencer). The generator is cooled with a single cooling circuit using an external radiator also mounted on the slides.
