Fischer Panda 8000 PSC AC Generator 50 Hz

This Fischer Panda 8000 PSC AC Generator is a compact water-cooled AC generator. This version is available with electrical winding to supply 230 V single phase at 50 Hz. The generator supplies a stable supply of 6 kW  at 3000m / +50°C) power with +/- 3 V tolerance and an extremely stable sine wave.

The generator is driven by a three-cylinder diesel Kubota D722 engine. The generator unit is connected to an external diesel fuel tank with connections pre-installed to the generator base  The Fischer Panda 8000 PSC AC Generator is enclosed within a robust sound insulation housing which significantly reduces operating sounds. The dry weight of the unit weight of the Fischer Panda 8000 PSC AC is approximately 300 kg (dry).

Easy assess to the components of generator is gained by unlocking the releases and removing the side panels. This version is mounted on a trailer based application. Lifting eyes are provided on the generator mounting rails to allow the unit to be lifted onto the trailer during installation. An oil drain hose is integrated into the unit and can be withdrawn by removing a protective access plate.

The generator has a integrated electrical distribution housing containing instrumentation and operator panel. The front of the electrical has a transparent protective window allowing the electrical status, engine temperature and fuel levels to be monitored. A flexible cover can be used to hide these during tactical operations or when operating at night. All application electrical consumers are connected via the 6 connections next to the electrical distribution housing.

The color of the generator can be matched according to the specifications of the customer's application requirements.

The generator is of the type PSC which is Panda Self Contained. Fischer Panda PSC generators  designed for installation as use as turn key unit. They have their own fuel source, dedicated cooling radiator, exhaust and electrical distribution. This particular model has the radiator mounted on the side. Behind the radiator is an external mounted air-cooled exhaust silencer. The position on the trailer allows sufficient room for the circulation of radiator cooling air to and exhaust heat to be dissipated to the side.
